“ Great spot before you hop on the cruise. Beer is 7/10 but the vibe is 10/10. Loved the 90 minutes we spent there with the fam before getting on our Alaskan cruise. ”
“ We came into Seward on Friday night and wanted to find a good local place for dinner. After looking at all the menus we decided on the Tidewater. The miso sablefish dish caught our eye when we looked at the menu online, And that’s what we both ended up ordering and pairing with Denali Brewing beers. Set upstairs at the Kraken bar facing a picture window that framed one of the best fuse I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. The sablefish was amazing! Perfect stirfry vegetables and rice. Hearty portion. Pair that with terrific service and that view. Just wow. We actually went back last night and ate the exact same dish. It was that good. We are from Fort Collins, Colorado, which has one of the highest concentrations of micro breweries and tap houses in the country. So we’re pretty picky. Kudos to the chef!!! ”
“ Wow, everything on the menu sounds delicious! And what we ordered was soooo good, highly recommend the Crab dip! Have to go back next time I’m in Seward to try more. Dining with table service is upstairs, downstairs is a casual fun outdoor/indoor bar space but you can still order food. ”
“ Had no idea this place existed until today. With that said, if you're visiting seward this is a must stop place to be. The music choice is good overall, the staff was beyond kind, and the food. The food was above and beyond, absolutely delicious crab dip, burger and bulgogi. Overall this is a place I would love to come back to again and again. ”
“ Super cool spot to stop and have a beer or wine paired with great food. We had the crab dip and it was outstanding but a bit burnt. Cool atmosphere. We recommend sitting at the top bar section where you can see the boats out the window. Indoor and outdoor seating. Parking outside. Friendly staff. ”
“ Right away our host was super friendly and conversational which is rare in the world now. The server Kandis was beyond sweet and gave us perfect service which is missing nowadays. The beers were even better. I highly recommend the wolfpack pilsner and the Razz wheat beer. We also got the lettuce cups which were just as good as they ate in Hawaii. I was so impressed. From beginning to end it was a perfect start to our cruise. ”
“ Wow, very laid back vibe with great food and service. We sampled a few items. The mac and cheese with chicken, the salmon schmear lettuce wraps with chicken salad and a cheesecake to round things up. While everything was fantastic, the mac and cheese was next level. It was creamy and enough to feed two people. The salmon schmear was also very good. The cheesecake had a lavender honey that was so different but so good. Highly recommend... ”
“ The atmosphere!!!!!! So fun! The openness to the space, quirkiness, & music give you the much needed rest and recharge before, after, or during your cruise stop. Absolutely loved the store downstairs. The staff are all very welcoming, helpful with menu items, and happy to see new faces. The food was delicious. The reindeer chili in a bread bowl was our favorite. The salmon smear was the best fish dish we had in town. ”
